We sourced this handcrafted Pigeonhole Unit in Bristol whereupon we were told it originally came from an industrial unit in Averyon near Toulouse and used in the 1950s.

This pine unit was skilfully built and still has some of the original labels attached, beautifully handwritten in French. This handmade Pigeonhole Units is still in its original condition showing some minimal ware and usage that adds to its originality.

They are becoming harder to find and were built to last suiting a variety of settings, hotels, restaurants/coffee shop, retail and domestic.

Pigeonhole Units/Cabinets were originally used as mail systems for a variety of businesses, also used for storage and displays.
