This 3 wheeled Go Cart is made from original plane parts, believed to be spares for Spitfires and was built circa 1940s

This exceptionally rare item was purchased from a trusted dealer, we’ve only seen one before and after doing some digging only a handful were made. They were made by Aviation Mechanics using spare parts and were raced around the hanger for fun during uncertain times. The 'Spitfire Go Cart' works by pushing/pulling the metal bar handles back and forth that are attached to bars fixed to a centralised back wheel and away you go, such a simple but effective design.
This 'Spitfire' Go Cart is a beautifully crafted item, original patina, worn warm colour, sturdy for age and made with iconic spare parts from an iconic era making it the ideal display piece.
