Early 20th Century Solid Oak Church Pew Bench
This solid oak Church Pew Bench was sourced from a Warwickshire pub where it become surplice to requirements when the interior was changed.
It originally came from a Northamptonshire Church (purchased by the interior designer) this Oak Church Pew shows an original worn condition but still solid and sturdy having aged well. These early 20th Century Pews suit a variety of locations such as county house reception areas/entrance hallway, country pub/restaurant or coffee shop.
Wooden Church Pews or Benches started to appear in Churches around fourteenth/fifteenth Century, replacing the original stone ones.
